cHiPSet goes Hungarian at ECMS’17

As a result of a successful academic collaboration with the European Council on Modelling and Simulation (ECMS), cHiPSet members ran the High Performance Modeling and Simulation (HIPMOS) track at the 31st edition of the annual ECMS conference held in Budapest on 23-26 May 2017. In the cHiPSet COST Action we organise a Training School during each financial period. The TrainingSchool covers activities relevant for the COST Action. cHiPSet at ISIN Seminar

It is our pleasure to announce that cHiPSet will be presented at ISIN Seminar organized in Dublin on May 18, 2017. This seminar is organized by Horacio Gonzalez-Velez and Dave Feenan.  The emerging trends on “High-Performance Modelling and Simulation for Big Data Applications” will be discussed under the umbrella of cHiPSet http://chipset-cost.eu/ , a multinational innovative COST Action. SI in Data Science and Engineering Journal

A special issue on “HPC-enabled Modelling for Big Data Problems in Life, Socio-Economical and Physical Sciences” is being prepared with contributions by the action members in the Springer journal Data Science and Engineering. The submission deadline is May 15, 2017. We thank the WG3 and WG4 leaders for making it possible.


SIMPAT SI Finished

Dear Action Members, We are happy to announce that the SIMPAT Special Section we recently worked on is finished and will be published in Volume number 76 of the journal, which will be compiled on 2nd June, 2017 with cover date as August 2017. cHiPSet at ICA3PP 2017 Conference

  It is our pleasure to announce that cHiPSet will be presented at ICA3PP 2017 Conference in Helsinki (https://research.comnet.aalto.fi/ICA3PP2017/). Dr Sabri Pllana is a Keynote Speaker at UCER 2017 Workshop, where our Action will be presented. The main organizer of the workshop is Prof. Jesus Careterro – the Chair of the NESUS Action. It will be then another example of our successful collaboration with NESUS. Additionally, cHiPSet Chair – prof.
