We have a pleasure to announce that cHiPSet will be visible again at ECMS 2017 conference.
In 2017 the 31st edition of the European Conference on Modelling and Simulation – ECMS – will take place during May 23rd – May 26th, 2017 in Budapest (Hungary). This annual conference is the global forum, which attracts researchers and practitioners from different fields involved in creating, defining and building innovative simulation systems, simulation and modelling tools and techniques, and novel applications for modelling and simulation, tuned for the use in the BigData world.
This is the second year, when the cHiPSet COST action is made visible for the data-intensive MS and HPC experts through the High Performance Modeling and Simulation (HiPMoS) track. One can already witness that the supporting activities, performed by the team of cHiPSet members (Mauro Iacono, Agnieszka Jakóbik, Daniel Grzonka, Andrzej Wilczynski, Piotr Szuster), guided by the action chair prof. Joanna Kołodziej, were successful. This year the track has attracted many experienced and young researchers from COST countries as well as from Near Neighbour countries. From cHiPSet we expected more participants including the Action Vice-Chair – Horacio Gonzalez-Velez and his team.
It is expected that the ECMS 2017 conference, during which it is also planned to disseminate the cHiPSet materials, will support the information exchange, synergy and coordination of activities among European research groups and top global partner institutions in the BigData HPC Modelling and Simulation area.
