The end of the 2GP – MC+CG Meeting in Palermo

Dear Action Members, The second Grant Period of our Action will finish in 2 months. The face-to-face Management Committee Meeting in GP2  will happen at March 27 in Palermo. We expect about 60 MC members and local organizers to attend the meeting. We plan to summarize the 2GP and define the draft of the report for the external evaluation. The Work and Budget Plan document for the 3GP will be also presented. The MC meeting will be co-located with a short Core Group meeting. The Agenda will be published very soon. cHiPSet presented at CloudCom 2016

The cHiPSet Action has been presented by the Action Chair at the 8th IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing Technology and Science (CloudCom 2016) held in the city of Luxembourg on 12-15 December 2016. WG Meeting in Luxembourg

Dear Action Members, The face-to-face Working Group Meeting in GP2  will happen very soon in Luxembourg. We invited 45 WG members to attend the meeting and expect a lot of interesting discussions and workplan for the rest of the GP2. The meeting will be hosted by University of Luxembourg and it is co-located with CloudCom 2016 conference. Some of the cHiPSet members will participate at that event as well. Post TR publication

Dear Action Members, The 1st Training School of the Action has been organized in Bucharest in September 2017. We could invite and support only 20 trainees from the outside of the Hosting Institution. The slides from all lectures are avaiable the TR webpage:   However, we arranged the publication of the essentials of all lectures as a book of the Springer Series ” Briefs in Computational Intelligence” The book is expected in the middle of 2017! Training School in Bucharest

Dear Action Members,   The 1st cHiPSet Training School (TR) was hosted in Bucharest in September 2016. It was a nice experience and great event of the Action. Collaboration with ECMS

New Scientific Coordinator

It is my great pleasure to announce that our cHiPSet Action has new Scientific Coordinator.  Dr Clemens Grelck – cHiPSet MC member from Netherlands has been elected recently by the MC of the Action and replaced Dr Steffen Moeller.
